So in prior years, Rod way undersold how serious an injury was. This year, the pendulum seems to have swung far in the other direction.

Nice the have some depth and in a decent spot in the standings so they don't have to have guys play while banged up.

Well it wouldn't be a post Hurricanes trade deadline without a bad injury.

Hopefully he heals nice and the injury bug doesn't bite anyone else.

Getting a fresh Drury back for the playoffs would be a nice bonus. Probably gives Kuzy more ice time, and he's gonna be feeling it. That's good though. Best way to get in game shape is to get in games. Plus the added bonus of learning our system. He seems pretty smart though.

Ugh…. Sucks to lose Drury for any length of time. He was establishing himself and getting rewarded with playing time over others. He had good chemistry and was getting 5v5 offense from Noesen as well….

You never want to lose your spot because of an injury… but this sucks and couldn’t have happened at a worse time personally given our recent acquisition. Hope he comes back stronger than ever… it make decisions easier for the coaching staff while he is out…. And forces Kuzy into more ice time than maybe Brindy wanted…. It shows he doesn’t know how to do it the canes way yet and is relying on his crazy skills to still be effective….

I hope Drury comes back soon better than ever and makes it tough for Brindy in terms of who plays and who plays where in the lineup…. That means good things for the teams results and success overall and we all want that..
