As much as I liked Rossi, we were probably the team that saw him the most since we had multiple prospects playing for the 67’s. He’ll be a great player, don’t get me wrong but if he was labeled to be Brayden Point 2.0, Yzerman would’ve snatched him up, the Sens would’ve picked him over Sanderson since he was playing in their backyard and Buffalo would’ve picked him over Quinn.
I hate this argument. It wouldn't be the first time (not even close) that a team passed on a player they over-scouted and simply made a mistake of passing on them. Look at Detroit passing on Hughes as the latest example I can remember off top of my head.
