Hasn't played since week 6 last year, was supposed to be ready this year and then it kept getting delayed when he would come back and now his season is over. At the time he was the only weapon on the giants. Now they have Beckham. Not to mention by the time next season rolls around he will almost be out of the game for 2 years. Wouldn't he lose a lot of speed?

I think losing speed isn't a huge deal. If he never has the same lateral quickness and burst as he did in the slot, he will struggle. His knee is healed, its his calf now. The Giants need him in the slot.

Isn't it the same leg though? He's having surgery but I find it bizarre he uploaded a video to bleacher report yesterday. That is certainly a bizarre way to deliver news. NY media is now speculating that maybe this is it for him.
