Is Nintendo killing off the 3DS?

I still think they'll come up with a Switch-"lite" of sorts. Maybe without a dock (which is $90 itself). Sell it for $199 and it's basically a 3DS.

Let's not pretend that the dock is worth anything close to $90. They'd be taking a loss selling the Switch itself for $199.

Nintendo will continue to have a dedicated handheld platform in the market when the 3DS is gone: smartphones.
