Between getting suspended for no reason and the quarantine, seems like Bergeron will play more games without Marchand than with him this month.

Maybe it'll be an extended audition to see how he does with other wingers.

The "Perfection Line" has been together now essentially since the 2016-17 season. That's a long time for one line of players to play together. Everything begins to go stale eventually. Bad habits emerge. Guys get complacent. And if playing with two of 63/37/88 is the brass ring, where is the opportunity to grab ahold of?

It was great, they can still use it at times. AND we still get to see the 3 of them together on the PP.

But 5 on 5, it's time to move on and spread the talent out.

It's long past time to break up 63-37-88 but as long as Bruce Cassidy is behind the bench this will not happen, barring injury to one of the three.
