We just want to see a flash of skill. A dash of pepper to a solid entree never hurts. That shoudn't be misconstrued with being enamored with a high-flair but risky style. Flash can be good when the situation calls for it. Instead of an Alex Frolov wraparound special, how about using the vertical dimension of air. Yeah, the Michigan. I think we attemped one Michigan, and that was Krieder, who was so bad at it that it looked like a North Dakota.
If I never see a NYR try a Michigan ever again I won’t lose a wink of sleep.

The College Interns must have just made it in. Better late than never:

When/If they put up the Laviolette interview I’ll edit it into this post.

Was looking for this stuff all night long. Thanks.

These interviews confirm what I am seeing in Chytil. Laf said Bread and Chytil are amazing to play with. And even Chytil himself said, that was his best game so far.

Also, Laviolette said he wasn't happy with sitting back and defending in the 3rd. But as I pointed out earlier this year, we will be very tough playing with a lead under his new system. It was only a few months back, that we would surrender leads like this in the 3rd period. That won't happen this year. It's likely we won't lose any games this year with the lead going into the 3rd.
