Flyers Fan Since: Early 2000's - I sat through a bad period that's for sure.When I started following the Flyers Forsberg was on the team. For some reason , even though I'm not from the US and hockey is non-existant in Belgium , supporting the Flyers was like coming home. Last year , I lived in Philly for a few months and I was able to catch some games. My first live game ever was the 4-0 win over Pittsburgh on March 15th of last year. It was quite emotional , because for more than 10 years I used to get up at night to catch the game in the playoffs. Oh and I was rinkside and Hartnell scored the first goal. It doesn't get better than that.

Yeah that's the seres I was refering to. And because I was learning on the fly about much of the hockey related issues (such as rules, salary cap, drafting and developing of prospects, fancy stats, defenseman positioning and play in neutral zone, argh Amac) it wasn't until this season I fully the withessed heartbreak of being a flyers fan. Having said that Hexy is man with the plan and has an influx of prospects and draft picks that were luxury before. I am really looking forward to see how things play out.

Lets go Flyers!!
