After winning the Calder Cup last season, I am surprised when I see people say that we don't have a good prospect pool. I think we are in the top 5 for sure.

I think the reason we're ranked so high is because we havent had a prospect make it since 06 so everyone is still considered a prospect where as other teams have had 1-4 guys graduate to the NHL so aren't considered prospects

And it's a funny thing when many of our most impressive prospects didn't even play on that team.

It will be a lot more "Wings prospect core impacted" team at next season.
