ok, so any really interesting cars, i.e. sports cars? exotics? vintage/classics?

do you prefer all domestic or mix?
Nothing super interesting, nicest car I have is a BMW X5 only 23k miles because I always drive my Focus, couple of convertible Mercedes R107s (70's - 80's body style) the '88 560SL runs and looks decent.

Historically never been a Benz fan, but since ~late 80's they've produced a few body styles which I like. All things being equal, I'd pick another car & brand, but those R107s/560SL & it's similar/smaller predecessors & successors (Kompressor ?) are enticing.

In the early 90's (college years) I worked at one of the top nightclubs in the country, plenty of high rollers who were regulars...got to drive a few Bling-mobiles, before there was a "bling" thing.

off the top of my head...

Porsche 930 Slant-nose (630+ HP) in red, manual transmission. Rear tires fatter than a hotrod/dragster.

Lambo Countach & Diablo

Lotus Esprit Turbo

Maserati

Acura NSX

Porsche 928s (Twin-turbo iirc?)

Benz 500 & 600 series coupes & sedans

Mazda RX-7 (handles like a go-cart)

Bentley & Rolls...(who cares about these?)

However, none of these compare to the pure exhilaration & freedom of a 750-1000cc+ Sportbike.

My last bike (after 13 mods, aerodynamics/cosmetic/performance) had ~185HP+. Curb weight (wet) was ~ 415lbs. iirc. ~1:2 HP:Weight ratio

0-60 = 2.9sec
0- ~140 = 8.7-9.2 iirc (1/4mile)
Top End = ~190

geared for racing, it'd do upto 90mph in 1st gear !!

I want to know who is the Cybertruck.

1200px-Tesla_Cybertruck_outside_unveil_modified_by_Smnt.jpg

As an aside, I unironically love the Cybertruck and think it's a far superior form factor to modern trucks and if I ever needed anything this big it would be at the top of my list.

And I say that as someone that thinks Elon is a wanker.

How is this form factor superior? It doesn’t look like it could haul much.

I owned 2 Honda Hurricanes 600 in grad school. I have a 250VTR I'm supposed to fix and sell sitting in the garage, lol.

I respect how multi-faceted/talented you are. IT prof. + car/MC mechanic + handyman + caregiver to homeless/stray cat(s) + volunteer @ a hospital.

Re: Hurricane 600's, my 2nd bike was a '90 Ninja 600R, it's parallel.

My favorites were my:

I'm an engineer, not IT, and you forgot PSIA Certified Level III instructor, lol.

As for the Hurricanes, I bought the second one for parts and decided to fix it too. Happened because Stanford only allows one car parking pass but nothing required for motorcycles, so I got 2. Best part is that the motorcycle parking was right outside my window, so I removed the screen and just walked in/out the window when I worked on the bikes.

Everytime I see that truck bed BBQ grill combo it conjures up so many

Haven't read any review/comparisions vs. traditional pickups, but for construction/hauling & similar work etc. Tesla may not carry the larger (by mass/volume) payloads, even if it has the torque/HP to haul it. Otherwise it's a very useful utility vehicle.

So which Red Wing is most likely to be photoshopped into doing things he cannot do and will never be capable of to drive up his trade value?

Somewhat related, which Red Wing is most likely to decapitate a teammate with an arrant slapshot? He would be a "self-driving" Tesla.

I'm looking forward to the sequel threads:

If the Detroit Red Wings players were snack foods...

If the Detroit Red Wings players were articles of clothing....

If the Detroit Red Wings players were types of marital aides...

If the Detroit Red Wings players were historical figures....

If the Detroit Red Wings players were Shakespeare characters...
