of course not. 24 games.... 1 third of a season? 1 third of their salaries.

that s why barnaby is pissed about not agreeing to a deal back in the fall. salary lost for what? the cap was the deal all along.

here is what would probably happen in a x games scenario:

Players are paid x/82 * annual salary. + some % of playoffs revenus (50% have been bring on the table by the owners already in some other offer)

Players are paid bi-weekly just like most of us working joes. The amount of games is not really the full part of it. I think I read somewhere that there were 14 pay days in a season so the players would have about 2 months or 4-5 pay days remaining. So I think it'd be.... player salary/14 X 4 or 5= player's pay for season.
