People to the left of us call us "right wingers" and people to the right of us call us "leftists" (although the former happens a lot more than the latter for some reason - as you just confirmed)

Stuck in the mushy middle, just like the Jets (usually)
People have gotten so black and white in their thinking and opinions it's actually frightening. Although it can also be argued that people on either extreme are the loudest and will get heard more and now have the ideal way to do so (social media), so those of us in the centre seem diminished. I don't have the energy to argue with people that refuse to think critically and form opinions in a nanosecond. It's like arguing with a drunk person, you pretty much can't win.
