This is a really interesting concept now that I look into the details. Basically triggering the immune system to attack a non-viral issue, which it otherwise wouldn't recognize.

Let's all have our fingers crossed, it would be a huge deal to find a way to fight this awful disease.

I remember from an old episodes of the Nature of Things with David Suzuki on CBC here in Canada that there is a lot of research going on that a number of virus could be the cause, or one of the causes, of the disease. Are infections seeding some cases of Alzheimer’s disease?

It may be interesting but we now have a significant amount of people who refuse to take a vaccine for something that spreads like wildfire and has killed 5 million + in less than two years. How many people would be willing to take a a vaccine for an infinitely rarer disease they might only contract in their relative old age? Listen, I hope it works but the world has changed and this is the new reality.

My mom is terrified that this is how she'll go. Her mom died of Alzheimer's. By the end my grandma forgot everyone but my mom.
