How To Remove Photo Album from iPhone Synched from Old PC?

I have an album on my iPhone that was synched years ago from an old PC, which I no longer have anymore.
I can't manually delete the album on my iPhone since it was synched from the PC, and yet on iTunes I can't delete the album because, well, it was from a different PC I no longer own.

Am I stuck with this album forever or is there anyway to get rid of it?

The fact that you have to ask this question is why I never used ITunes when I had an Iphone 3gs and one of the reasons I rarely consider iPhones when looking for a new phone.
