Reset Advertising ID
iOS - Whenever you want to clear the data associated with your Advertising Identifier, you can simply reset it. To reset your Advertising Identifier on iOS, open “Settings”, tap “Privacy”, tap “Advertising”, and tap “Reset Advertising Identifier”. To reset your Advertising Identifier on Apple TV, open “Settings”, then select “General”, select “Privacy”, and click “Reset Advertising Identifier.”
Android (Nougat)
Settings --> Personal --> Google -->Ads --> Reset advertising ID , you can also opt out of ads personalization on this screen
Location for this setting may be different on other android versions.
I've been using several android devices for testing. I couldn't figure out why some are affected and some are not. It turns out that when using chrome*, if data saver is enabled in settings, the device doesn't get popups.
*apparently only works with chrome canary
