Ok but in that post you said "So, on a 6 year deal, I think you're off by about 1M"... so that means you thought that Ceci would be worth 5.2 on a 6 years deal. Do you still think that?

In a reply to your post, I recognized that I had 1 too many years so I concluded by saying : "I think Ceci on a 5 years would be around 4.5."

I think the Senators would be ill advised to sign Ceci 5 years at 5M+, but that's where the market looks to be. I can't see him signing long term for less than that.

I would not be surprised if the Senators simply went two years with Cody Ceci like they did with Pageau and Dzingel.

Ceci will be moved.so cap hit will be 7 mill or less for Stone. No way they signing Ceci for 5 mill a season. Not even worth 3.5 imo

One more year of watching Mark Stone in a Senators jersey ;) Enjoy!

My current favorite Sens players :

1) Mark Stone
2) Erik Karlsson
3) Thomas Chabot
4) Matt Duchene
5) Bobby Ryan
6) JG Pageau
7) Ryan Dzingel

How many of them will still be here in 2 years?

Ouch, ya that's gonna sting in a year or two's time. Only player I see there that I'm fully confident will be here is Chabot.
