Sure there might be a direct trade of say a goalie, but someone on a NHL contract may be part of a retention deal.
At most that can only be one player (since we only have one retention spot left) so people can factor that into their prediction.

I voted for 3: Duclair, one of Ferraro or Kahkoken, and either Barabanov for a low pick or Granlund for a 2nd or 3rd if they can make the salary work

Guessed 2, but could see it as high as 5. I think there are likely only 2 maybe 3 trades that occur, but the key factor will be if they're able to package multiple pieces in a single deal to up the value coming back. Would imagine that with our overall underwhelming crop of rental players, Grier would like to add more quality in the return than just a bunch of less than 1% dart throws in the end of the draft.

Packaging Kahkonen with another piece is going to get a lot better value than just trading Kahkonen on his own. So would Kahk + Barabanov/Duclair take each piece being worth ~3rd or 4th round pick and return a single 2nd round pick? Those are the questions that Grier is going to be tasked with over the next few days. The more he can combine pieces for a higher valued return, the better.

listening to 32 thoughts, EF said teams arent that interested in most of our guys.

Duclair and Granlund are drawing the most interest, with Ferraro and KK getting a bit.

So im guessing 2.

Duclair and kunin are probably our most likely assets to be moved maybe kahkonen and bara, don't think anyone with term is gonna go until the off-season, no major deals just stocking up mid/late round picks in next couple drafts

2; since the Sharks love Mario and others have an extra year. Duclair and Kahkonen are my guess.

But there are GMs like Doug Wilson who throw picks at teams for garbage players, so who knows?
