How Many 20 Goal Scorers?

This thread reminds me of this poster, which I wish I still had:

4 rookie twenty goal scorers on one team, Winnipeg Jets 92-93. Selanne, Tkachuk, Zhamnov, Davydov.

Not likely to happen with this year's Jets. Laine and Connor have a good shot. After that, not too many rookies available... If Morrissey and Lemieux both make the team, and score twenty goals each, I will happily eat crow!

Davydov... most famous for having his face smashed right into the camera lens between the benches in a playoff game vs the Canucks. Man we thought that guy was going to be a top player in the league

How many 20 goal scorers we gonna have this year?
I think we could end up with 7 potentially:

Scheif 30
Wheeler 25
Little 24
Ehlers 23
Laine 22
Staff 20
Buff 20

I think the only question marks there are Staff and Buff IMO. Wildcard is Connor but Im sure he won't have the TOI like the others.

I'm calling two wildcards and two long-shots.

Wildcards: Connor and Lemieux

Long-shots: Copp and Lowry.

That was in the 'old NHL'....even that dog got 20 goals

That's 3.5 per team.

I feel like Scef, Wheeler, Little and Ehlers will all be givens to hit 20 goals next year.

Guys who could get close/probably would top 20 - Laine, Buff

Guys like Stafford, Connor, Perreault, will probably be above/around 15 (if connor sticks all year)

Realistically around 4, hopefully 5 is my guess

I'm certain caps had 6 almost 8.

Jet's had 3 20g scorers last year, with 3 other players who were "close". Buff had 19, and Ladd and Little had 17. Little would most likely have been a lock if he weren't injured.

I'm comfortable saying 5 will pot 20 in the upcoming year.
