2 Ahl (more depth)

5 Liiga

7 National league a
8 Czech Extraliga
9 Ice hockey league (Austria)
11 echl and Hockeyallsvenskan tied
12 tipsport liga
13 eihl

16 then who knows maybe sphl

I do agree with the bolded part. Even though I see the SHL as a bit better than the NLA/Liiga/AHL tier.
I do have a hard time comparing Allsvenskan to the ECHL (As I do think it's difficult to compare the AHL to NLA & Liiga). I think top teams from Allsvenskan are better than top teams from the ECHL, but I guess it's somehow right.

The best way to figure this is to look to see what leagues ECHL players tend to go to when playing in Europe. That will give you a much better idea than fans making random lists.
