We are in for a crazy finish in BOTH pools. Latvia and Austria are out so we know who the quarter finalists are. What we don't know? How the pools end?

Canada vs Sweden

NOTE: Germany is 4th no matter what they do. Lost head to head and against Canada and can't catch Czechs even with a regulation win.

The fact that we have a reasonable chance to win the group and get Germany in the QFs is amazing to me.

Yup. The only way Canada finishes first is if Germany beats Czechia in regulation and we beat Sweden in regulation.

A lot of that will be determined today. Teams are seeded 1-8 going into the quarters and the semis are determined off of that. Highest seed to win a quarter gets the lowest seed to win.

Finland-USA should be epic. The winner faces Germany, the shittiest team left. Looser faces Canada or Sweden. Should be a pretty competative game.
