Hoglander's game has looked like Garland's since he was drafted, IMO (the Hansen talk was always utter horse-sh*t), and just like Garland, his game isn't that well suited to the PP (or playing with guys like Pettersson/Kuzmenko).
You could say that he could always develop that ability, but he has to show it 5-on-5 first. He's shown that he can be great 5-on-5, but he hasn't really shown transferrable PP abilities-- he still looks like Garland (which isn't a bad thing at all).
He should have PP time over guys like Lafferty or Aman, but not Suter, IMO.
I actually think Joshua is the guy we should all be complaining doesn't get more PP time-- he looks like he could fit it really really well.
