Hockey themed video games (and what makes them great)

I didn't find any threads here about hockey themed videogames(which is weird because this is hfboards) so decided to create one. Of course I'm a bit biased because I'm making an indie hockey game. But the idea of this thread would be to put all the good hockey games under the same place.
So, what's the best hockey game you've played and why is it great?
I try to dig deeper than the basic NHL franchice. Maybe Blades of Steel or NHL Hitz etc...
