Hockey Stick Bench / Chair

Does anyone have any experience / advice building one of these?

I'm thinking of building a 2 - 3 seater bench. I'll probably need ~5 more sticks, but right now I have 7 goalie sticks and 2 player sticks to my disposal.

goal sticks make decnt arm rests and framing but the seats and backs should be the shafts of the out players stick. Easy to get the broken remains from a local ice or roller/outdoor rink. I have a book around here somewhere with the plans. will dig around for it.
