That doesn't matter. Only truly dysfunctional teams fire a head coach after a season we just had. Hell, it's hardly ever done. The Capitals did it with Trotz because the owner is a cheapskate.

It sucks, I know. And it may be the wrong move to keep Gallant when Cassidy is sitting there, but it's just something you have to stick with.

I would take Cassidy, Tortorella, and especially Trotz over Gallant in a heartbeat. Tonight was an all time coaching disaster.
