The previous post regarding the Sundqvist signing before... deja vu... I think whoever has access to the Roster thread should add him to TOR's roster soon!

While I'm on the subject of stealing free agents from other teams, I should remind you all that any UFAs on the roster sheet of a team will become available for all teams to sign starting January 1st. This applies to the following players:

Scottie Upshall (EDM) - @McDrai
Jarome Iginla (MIN) - @Black Noise
Bobby Farnham (TOR) - @Tigs

From Corey Perry's agent

"Perry has decided to waive to LA. Seeing that LA is currently first in power rankings for the month after deciding to contend and having a good chunk of playoff players Perry feels they have a good chance of winning the cup. Perry will also get first line minutes and decent linemates while also maintaining his nmc making this move most desirable. He feels with his help they have the ability to win the cup. He also gets to rejoin teammate Cam Fowler on the roster who he already spoke on the phone with."

TRADE:
To LA: Corey Perry (50% retention)
To NYR: Cam Atkinson, Kailer Yamamoto, rights to Ilya Kovalchuk

Per Corey Perry's agent, Perry has agreed to waive his NMC for Los Angeles.

Welcome Corey to Los Angeles. Although we may have paid a decent price, we feel Perry at a ~4M caphit for the rest of his contract was something we could not pass up on.

LA calls up Chandler Stephenson.

LA sends down Sonny Milano.
