Should I include Ryan McLeod as a prospect? I considered him graduated but wasn't sure.

I would consider McLeod a prospect. He only has 14 NHL games played (10 reg, 4 playoff). Bouchard has more.

6. Benson (he deserves a stint in the NHL or else we'll never know what we have in him. Guy's been a PPG guy in the AHL since getting there and good in junior.)

Kinda interested to see how some of these go.

Broberg didnt have a great year.

Bouchard didnt get much of an opportunity, but generally liked what I seen from him.

And Holloway has probably had the biggest rise.

I would have said Bouchard isn’t a prospect but McLeod is as Bouchard spent the entire previous season on the big club. But yeah that would make him #1 if you include him

I wasn't sure if Bouchard is still considered a prospect at this point because he'll blow the doors off at TC and solidify his role as the best right side D. Just look at him, he spent 30 years in the hyperbolic time chamber and has gained all the experience to play like a vet. JK!

Does he still carry the rookie status or is that gone now? I might have to change my vote if he carries it.

Leave McLeod off, he doesn’t have as many games as Bouchard but he’s 100 percent established as a full time player. Tippett loves him.

As for the poll it’s Bouchard but I really contemplated Holloway. I actually might have Samorukov ahead of Broberg as well as of today. Broberg has the higher ceiling but Samorukov is right on the cusp on being an NHLer and will be a full timer before Broberg.

I still can't believe a single middle of Covid bubble training camp put Broberg above Bouchard in people's minds.

#1 is Bouchard. Has been since he was drafted and it's not really close.

I initially picked Holloway cause if you look at Bouchard, he looks older than Duncan Keith. Am I crazy to think Bouchard is not a prospect anymore?

That was more so due to how poor our bottom 6 was.

he had good underlying numbers with no production.

It’s no guarantee he will be on the NHL roster full time this year

I think it was fair for people to see it as close. Broberg has immense potential with a rare combination of size and skating. He captained Sweden at the WJC's, he's legit. Prospect ratings are about projections and Broberg showed some really offensive upside, something that was his biggest question mark. I'm excited to see how he does on the smaller ice, I think it will actually play to his strengths.

I'm not convinced Berglund has the footspeed in my brief viewings and am just giving the benefit of the doubt to Muzenberger due to draft position. You may very well be right.
