It's been an unwritten rule, but I'm formally announcing the OB Rule. Please refrain from talking about prospects that have yet to be drafted. IE: "that's an okay pick, but I would have taken ______ or ______ who's still on the board instead". No. Do not do this.

Speaking of OB, we're introducing a trophy this year. The Oilbleeder Memorial Trophy. Given to the poster with the best +/- of the players they selected as compared to their actual draft position. An arbitrary way to deicide a winner, +/- doesn't really tell you anything without context, unless you really really believe.

The 2nd round of the playoffs is going to end early next week and we'll have an updated draft order to play with.

I'd still like to fill San Jose, they have a nice 1st round pick to use, and then disperse the rest of the teams that want a 2nd. Here's my list of people that want a 2nd:

The Winnipeg Jets couldn't get it done and their game 7 is Thursday... 2 days off before the next game? Sigh. The significance would effect only Nashville and Jets (they flip positions 27 vs 31). I could live with that and we could get started.

It looks like we're hitting a wall with signups, so I'll probably make a lottery for the remaining teams tomorrow.
