- Ilya Mikheyev (28) - 88 SK/76 PA/79 SC - contract 3 x $4.75m. Middle-six two-way winger with speed
- Barclay Goodrow (30) - 80 CK/81 DF - contract 2 x $4.65m - brings physical presence and defensive accountability in a top-9 role, can play up and down the lineup as required, can also play center
- Jesper Fast (31) - 78 CK/85 SK/73 DF - contract 1 x $3.15m. Lives up to his name as a third-line checker with speed who can chip in offensively, was a big contributor to Carolina’s playoffs with 6 goals and 9 points in 15 games in a checking/PK role.
