Washington is less looking for rentals and more looking to control some salary for next season.

Players Available:

Conor Garland - favorite player of mine being somewhat wasted outside of an offensive role on my team. he has many years of control and his ratings will hold strong next season., Looking for a roster replacement place holder forward and a futures return either picks or prospects.

Joel Edmundson - strong stay at home D for a contender. Looking to move some salary around. Would like a roster backfill and a pick or prospect.

Frank Vatrano - scoring from the 3rd line can be elusive. Vatrano has strong offensive ratings. Pick or prospect return.

Erik Haula - Will be rated great next season, but is likely not a part of the teams future. Pick or prospect.

T.J. Brodie - this would take a big boy offer. a puck moving fast skating defensive defenseman who can play gobs of minutes effectively. would prefer a young defender, but will consider picks and prospects if offer is good.

Still have all these players available. Adding G Antti Raanta to the trade list with his excellent season this year. He's only played 20 games, but will likely see more time down the stretch. His .918 save percentage and 2.32 goals against will see him rated well and he has another year in the Hurricanes net.

Looking for a young defenseman who will rate out well next season and looking to cut salary for next season as well.
