Coyotes are considering moving the 5th Overall pick. We have a short list of who we believe we will be able to select at that pick, and for us to execute a trade we'd need someone with a similar level of upside, but we'd like to get a prospect that is further along in their development.
We're also willing to move the following players and prospects
On Roster: G - Marek Mazenec, G - Matthew O'Connor, D - Tyler Ganly, D - Kevin Czuczman, D - Brian Strait, D - Brayden McNabb, D - Kyle Quincey, W - Mike Brown, W - Jordin Tootoo, W - Scottie Upshall, LW/C - Justin Abdelkader
Prospects: D - Alexander Younan, RW - Austen Brassard, W - Brendan Ranford, G - Garret Sparks, F - Ivan Telegin, LW/C - Jason Dickinson, D - Jerome Gauthier-Leduc, D - Johnathan MacLeod, LW/C - Julien Nantel, D - Mikko Vainonen, D - Miro Keskitalo, D - Nicholas Mattinen, LW - Zac Larraza
Some of the prospects listed we'd deal for a later pick, or even package a few for a pick or two. We have an unfortunate history of moving players and having them gain more value as they develop.
Some of the better prospects we'd be willing to deal one or two but not all of the ones listed at their position
In addition to these we'd listen to offers involving Nikita Zadorov or Denis Gurianov
I think we're stronger on the blueline than we are up front so for some of the better prospects, I think we'd like to get a good young offensive forward. We'd also be willing to combine a good forward and good defensive prospect for one very good forward prospect.
