Just curious, but we follow the NHL in terms of order, don't we?

As such, the bottom 4 picks in round 1 are the final four teams, but the rest of the order reverts to the standings, no? That's how the NHL does it, and that's how our rule book lay it out for the HFNHL.

Just checking. Would have taken Hartman anyway, so no biggy for this mock :D

PS: Looks like Mantha got selected already. But even with a re-do, I get Hartman!!

The leafs must have been working the phones too hard trying to pull off a blockbuster trade that they select a player that was taken 2 picks earlier...

No. The final four pick 27-30. After that are the remaining division winners, then the rest of the playoff team. So, it is Red Wings at 26, Devils at 25 and Columbus picks before all division winners regardless of actual records.

Do the Islanders actually end at 14? I thought they were 16 for some reason originally, but if only the final 4 get seeded at the end then I think 14 is correct now that I look closer.

I think that looks right to me without checking the standings. Flyers/Avs pick late because of finalist status and the rest according to points...
