Offensively, the top line is fantastic with Duchene between two great wingers in Landeskog and PA Parenteau. Our second line is going to be a great two way line, with awesome two way winger Ondrej Palat, two way god ROR, and a great goal scorer in Radim Vrbata. The third line is surely a force to be reckoned with, with three proven top six players, and our fourth line has three proven third liners to complement our top nine.

This team is solid defensively, with a great top 4 of EJ, EK, Faulk, and the oft-underrated Jan Hejda, complemented by a great bototm pairing of the great defensively Rob Scuderi and the great offensively Tyson Barrie.

Semyon Varlamov is one of the best goalies in the league and behind that D he will continue to be.

The :avs are one of the league's better teams, vote :avs over :hawks

Vancouver has Stamkos and Weber, but beyond that they have a shaky squad this year in underperforming Sedins, Mike Richards as the 2nd line pivot (when he's only getting third line minutes in LA behind even Stoll!) and this year's Canucks Bottom-6 and five starting dmen, backstopped by inexperienced Bishop, which all adds up to an underperforming squad far off of their career peak years, against a firing-on-all-cylinders Sharks squad built to win now....

Honest question guys, do you vote for yourselves/on your matchup in the playoffs? lol. I don't vote on the matchup that I'm in and i am wondering what you guys do.

Probably voting 1, 2, 3, 4. Typically I do cause a vote is a vote, but that's my take.

Habs-Sharks series match-ups

1st lines

Andrew Ladd - Tyler Seguin - Ryan Callahan
vs.
Joe Pavelski - Joe Thornton - Brian Burns

Advantage :sharks

2nd lines

Max Pacioretty - David Desharnais - Thomas Vanek
vs.
Patrick Marleau - Logan Couture - Dustin Byfuglien

Advantage :sharks

3rd lines

Brendan Gallagher - Tomas Plekanec - Joel Ward
vs.
Mason Raymond - Martin Hanzal - Tommy Wingels

Edge :sharks.
Wingels and Hanzal are among NHL leaders in hits with 200+ each (while putting up a combined 78 points). Hanzal is stronger on faceoffs but Ward has been clutch in the playoffs; both Wingels and Ward are among the forward leaders in blocked shots.

4th lines

Rene Bourque - Ryan White - Brandon Prust
vs.
Raffi Torres - James Sheppard - Mike Brown

Even.
Bourque is hot these playoffs with 3 goals but Torres has 2 as well as shift disturbing play that has drawn penalties by the opposition. Sheppard is much better on face-offs but Prust is a quality checker.

1st pairings

Ryan McDonagh - P.K. Subban
vs.
M-E Vlasic - Tobias Enstrom

Edge :habs

2nd pairings

Victor Hedman - Andrei Markov
vs.
Roman Josi - Justin Braun

Edge :habs
Josi and Markov both play 25+ minutes per game, both block a lot of shots, Josi scoring 13 goals but three less points than Markov. Braun has had top-2 dman minutes for San Jose this season and a great plus-minus but Hedman has had a great offensive year.

3rd pairings

Josh Gorges - Alexei Emelin
vs.
Brad Stuart - Jason Demers

Even.

Goaltending

Carey Price
Peter Budaj
vs.
Antti Niemi
Roberto Luongo

Even.
Price has had a good year but so has Niemi, except for a few shaky weeks down the stretch. Lu can step in in a heartbeat any time in the series.

Could you please explain the difference between edge and advantage to me? Cause if your top 2 lines have a clear advantage over mine (which is absolute bull**** but fine) than I don't understand how my top4 doesn't have advantage times 10 to your top 4

First pairing isn't an "edge". McDonagh-Subban is a clear advantage over Vlasic-Enstrom.
