HFCBJ mini meet before NYI and/or PHI games Thu 4/4 & Fri 4/6

R Bar is usually pretty packed. I’m up for saying hi, though!
I am up for saying hi on Saturday (Not R Bar too packed before game time). My seats are in club and my friend isn’t going (just notified me today). So you are welcome to my extra ticket Sec 5.
If you all are in club, let me know so I can say hello, too. C4.

What about the Parlay Sporting bar? Or is that too far away already (I'm walking from Short North so anything works for me).
The Tim Horton's attached to the arena, on the outside? Been meaning to try out the Timbits...
Alternatively could just meet at e.g. the Arnold statue, or even at the front gates (or the other entrance, is that one by the box office quieter?) and just walk to the game and see if we go sit down in the arena somewhere. I'll put on a paper bag on top of my head so y'all can spot me.
I'll be an amalgamation of Marchenko meets Korpi meets fashionable paper bag.

I've sorted my mobile internet woes, T-Mobile Prepaid eSIM ftw, Holafly worked ok in other cities but not in Columbus for some reason... anyhow if we can't agree on something in time I'll be checking up here if folks are around for e.g. between-period meetups etc.

My seat for Saturday's game is in Sec 106 Row U (Seat 3) so not too bad - in fact it's the one I paid the most CBJ money by far at $60 + fees even with the Powerplay sale, but Club sounds better.

Club seat is yours. There is a Tim Hortons inside the arena. I can meet at the bar at Buca Di Beppos or Fanatics parlay sporting bar. That Fanatics actually sounds good, wanted to see what that's like and it sounds like it's pretty empty. So let's meet at the Fanatics Sportsbook at around 6 PM on Saturday. Everyone else welcome too!
I'll go to the Fanatics already on Thursday at 6 PM if anyone else wants to come around, and if not then happy to say hi around the arena between periods or whatever.
I usually wear my blank MiC jersey because it's the most comfortable, but it's hard to pick out of a crowd since it's blank. I'll probably wear either my 2023 ASG or Hartnell, maybe my Kazan Panarin?

I’ll be looking for you guys in club! Not sure which sweater I’ll be wearing. Fun fact, I have be selected to receive a “Jersey off Their Backs” after the game. If you stay a bit after the horn, you’ll see this annual tradition. The players greet fans on the ice and literally give them the jersey off their back. I’m pretty pumped for it!

I'm planning to be there 6.00-6.40 PM. Laine Fanatics jersey #29, roughly 6'0. I've hastily written "HFCBJ" on my paperbag, if I'm too much of a wuss to actually wear it on my head I'll try to have it on a table or on my hand or something.

The more the merrier so if anyone's coming to the game, please come say hi at the Fanatics Sportsbook at 6 PM-ish or tell where you're sitting at the game so we can do an intermission meetup. I think squashmaple was saying she'll be at the game so we should get up to three at least.

While I was searching Club last game, I met and befriended no less than 3 people wearing Laine jerseys and one woman with a cane who wasn’t Squash. Sorry I missed you due to my confusion about which game the meetup plans were for, but now I know more fans in my section. They musta thought I was running for mayor of Center Ice Club, lol!
Won’t be at the pub pregame, we are planning to get in early to snag the nesting doll giveaway. I’ll have a big group of family there, so no chance I can wander away for a meetup during the intermission. If you arrive earlier to Fanatics, check out the fan fest on the area just in front of NWA. Weather permitting, could be fun
