I think Peterka could be better, maybe?...... Team Germany 2026 looking better and better
I’d say they’re relatively even in regards to how they matchup as prospects.

Germanspitfire brought up a good point and it’s my thoughts too. Reichel should play in the Hawks top-6 next year so he has all the opportunity in the world on that roster. Peterka has stiffer competition in Buffalo.

Jake Sanderson 3rd best prospect in hockey.

Either were about to gave a new DPE or HF is wrong again.

Its crazy the amount of hype a fanbase like Ottawa can generate.
HEAR ME OUT.

Maybe…. JUUUUUST Maybe.

You’re the one underrating Jake Sanderson and are TRYING to be different?

Crazy I know.

I’m a Devils fan and even I would put him one apot ahead of Hughes in the best D prospects rankings (Power, Sanderson, Hughes).

What don’t you like about Sanderson? To me, after watching him play a fait amount, he seems like the whole package. Great skater, remarkable offensive instincts and very sound defensively. Curious as to what makes you low on him. You don’t see the upside maybe?

Im not low on him. I think hes a shoe-in top 4 and a potential top pair D, but were talking about 3rd best prospect in the world here. Its ridiculous. He does not have high end potential. Nemec, Wright, Quinn, Jiricek, Cooley, Highes, Nazar, Reichel and a few others all blow him out of the water

Nah. Recency bias much? Disagree on Sanderson, he is another level. He is a beast shutdown (best not in the NHL) and he does have great offensive upside.

Looks like Hughes/Sanderson were splitting votes last round, and now Hughes will win this one. I think Power/Hughes/Sanderson are the three best prospects in the league.

After this I like Edvinssson but Slafkovsky/Wright are worthy picks.

I would take McTavish before Wright/Slaf/Cooley right now. Hughes or Edvinsson is a coin flip to me.
Add Pelletier

Well that is certainly a take. Sanderson has extremely high potential. Rare for a 20 year old to have such a polished all around game already.

Honestly Power/Sanderson/Edvinsson/Hughes should be the top 4. You can debate the order of them but I struggle to rank a single forward ahead of any of them.
