Jack Hughes wont get votes because he needs to get an entire 70+ game season in (not his fault) but hes easily going to jump into this top-10 after this year

Best play-driver in the NHL at 20 is probably a top-10 center.

But since votes arent going that way, Id probably go Aho here then Stamkos then Zibanejad

Bergeron (who i respect immensely and has had one helluva carer) being voted 6th best center heading into next season is actually mindblowingly bad and a reminder why these polls are meaningless

HF's love of analytics. Some folks (who are known analytics followers) were picking him as early as like #3 or #4.

It's a mix of respect, and of people who appreciate his underlying numbers. I imagine someone with more motivation could put together a decent argument for him being 6th. All over his on ice impacts are through the roof.

"Known analytics followers" lol apparently math is a cult now.

I don't care if you like it or not, this is some Jupiter shit and Bergeron should be higher.

Aho here.

Probably Aho, but when he's healthy, Malkin is still an absolute horse. It's just becoming more and more rare for him to be completely healthy and on top of his game. So i can definitely see why he's not garnering more votes just yet.

The people in the comments of every single poll at every position complaining about why the order is wrong and the polls are meaningless are hilarious. Don't look at them then. They have like 200+ votes on every poll and it's taking the consensus of the community. None of the results so far have been so egregiously bad that they garner such a comments. People act like the gaps between these players are so much bigger than they actually are.

It's also maybe a dozen people complaining whereas, like you said, we're getting around 200+ votes each poll. It's a very small subset that are voicing these thoughts.
