2nd in the Metro looks much more appealing than 1st in the Metro right now

Would you rather Tampa or Philadelphia in the first round? The winner of the Metro currently faces Tampa where 2nd place gets Philadelphia.

Playoff format continues to screw teams for winning.

Its exaggerated, they only really use a passive 1-3-1 when they dump it in and go for a change or are protecting a late lead. For the most part they keep the third man high, look to clog the middle of the neutral zone and apply diagonal back pressure from their wingers to force the opposition to the wall.

God forbid somebody still wants to play aggressive, defensive hockey in this league.

They should change it back to 1-8, but if the NHL want to change things up to create more buzz, have 1st overall have their choice of who they play from 5-8.

Vegas just plays a very defensive style of hockey. They sit 5 back in the neutral zone and do everything they can to force the puck around the boards only in their own zone waiting to counter attack in hopes of popping in timely goals... which they just got.
