It's really not that surprising when you think about it. They played a lot of extra games last year and the team isn't exactly young. The D particularly is old and Martinez, Petro and McNabb showed it, but the fact Hague and Whitecloud have regressed certainly sped up the debacle.

Also, expecting Hill and Thompson to continue being elite like they were in the playoffs is just an unsustainable wish.
