The Hershey Bears announced Wednesday that the club has signed forward Austin Fyten to a one-year contract for the 2015-16 season. The 24-year-old Fyten is coming off of his first full year in the AHL, dressing in 64 games with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms in 2014-15. Fyten produced 11 points (two goals, nine assists) along with 85 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound native of Sundre, Alberta split the 2013-14 season with the Oklahoma City Barons and the ECHL’s Idaho Steelheads. (more...)
