That goal was a beautiful snipe too!

I'll be honest, I didn't know much about the player before he came to Edmonton (despite being around forever), but I like what I've seen from him so far. He kinda reminds me of Nuge - he isn't really a line "driver", but just a smart, versatile player who can slot-in anywhere in your lineup.

I know they're both old, but adding guys like him and Perry will be huge for the Oilers these playoffs IMO.

Is this a bad picture or is Ludwig on that Beetlejuice diet?

Fun fact: as you can see in the caption, Denis Brodeur is credited as the photographer. Yes, that Brodeur. Martin Brodeur's father was not only a goalie himself (won bronze for Canada at the '56 Olympics in Cortina, Italy), but was later a sports photographer and worked for the Canadiens.

Surprised he hasn't had more trips to the playoffs in all these years
his last playoff appearance was with the 18 ducks and he went pointless in a 4 game sweep. ducks have been in a rebuild since then and before that, he was on some pretty shitty devils teams
