I picked up the all-time GVT spreadsheet recently, with the intention of using it to help me in a game project. It didn't seem to come with any documentation, but I think I've been able to figure out what most of the stats are. There's one that's eluded me so far, though, and it doesn't seem to be covered or explained anywhere else.
In between RPM and OGGVT (offensive/goaltending GVT), there's "Help". There seems to be a correlation between players on good teams getting high ratings and players on bottom-dwellers being in the negatives, but that doesn't tell me a whole lot.
What does this stat measure, exactly?
