I... I have no idea what to think about this or what the scouts see in him for Davidson to trade for him. His numbers are very underwhelming for a 22 year old.

Don't stand for the Blackhawks. Stand for Kyle.

Chicago traded a sixth rounder for a concession stand employee. I do not understand what is happening any more.

Judging by all of our draft picks is it safe to assume this guy has a high motor and skates well?

4th line grinder unless they know something----I think they ran out of players to draft and threw a dart at the Swede's name in the 7th

About half way through the draft I was wondering where our talented European scouts were hiding…then we drafted those two at the end

Does his family have any ties to the Blackhawks? Seems like a personal favor type trade, because he's kind of a nothing prospect with no NHL future.

That isn't Gorman's game at all. Doing a transfer year at UMass - 3 assists in 18 games.

Except for prototypical size - that allowed him to dominate prep and junior hockey - not likely his game translates to professional hockey.

His younger brother Brendan, now a true sophomore at Princeton, lacks Liam's size but is the better all around player.

The most interesting thing about acquiring Gorman is that I went to his eliteprospects page and found out he has a teammate named Van Tassell, which was a fun Sleepy Hollow reference even if the spelling isn't exactly the same.
