Nichlas Hardt does not seem to have played for Jokerit so far this season. I suspect he must be injured, but I haven't heard anything about a possible injury. Anyone here who can provide some details?
He's clearly not 100% yet, which is understandable of course. The goal was a bit of a fluke as the d-man shot a wrister from the blueline which first hit the opponent and then apparently Hardt in front of the net. He was just screening the goalie and I think it just happened to hit him. That kind of dirty work he does is actually very important for Jokerit since their offense is full of skilled guys looking for pretty plays.Hardt is back! Scoring his first goal in his second game of the year - equalizing to 2-2 late third period against HPK. So apparently he is not too rusty after his injury.

Injured again. Same knee as before.
That's good news...could have been worse.Update: Predicted to return after two weeks.
Right in time and hopefully he keeps it going in playoffs plus his grit is needed there. It seems Nichlas Hardt is finally back in business with 3 goals in the last 3 games for Jokerit. So hopefully he is getting playoff ready now!
Nichlas Hardt still seems to be struggling with lack of point production after his injuries last season. Only 0G 3A in 8 matches.
So how does he look. Close to turn it back on?
He has been better lately. Played five first games in the second line and lately he was promoted to the first line. Lacks point production but he has been great physically.
Good to hear! So I guess it's just a matter of time before the points start rolling again. At least as you say he can always contribute with his intensity!
Janne Lahti said that they started to practise the game system with defense first and still haven't practised offense that much and you can see that's the case when looking the games. Not unless Jokerit suddenly finds some offensively talented centers and changes their offensive system as to what happens in the neutral and offensive zone. The current system won't produce more than 1-3 goals per game.
