Unusual to move a guy with that much term.

I’m sure the speculation will 100% center around Guentzel, the Penguins and Dubas,

Carolina is at a full roster. So if they trade bunting and only get back one roster player they’ll be alright
How about cap-wise? I’m far too lazy (and at work) to look it up, but it have to imagine all those guys went on waivers for a reason.

I bet a Guentzel trade goes down tomorrow morning. This feels like Dubas trading Guentzel but getting back a “top-6 winger” so it doesn’t look like he’s actively trying to make his team bad.

Good call by the canes. Even if one nice prospect goes out the door, they have stocked themselves for years. Guentzel is a perfect target

Carolina adds 3 absolute clowns in the offseason and by the deadline they're all goners. At least they'll get something in return for Bunting. Hell of a team but just so painfully soft its embarrassing. I can't get behind a team like this. Even when they try to address it, swing and a miss.
