Other change in FIN line-up is that Salmela/Niskala will play with Kapanen's line and Väänänen/Järvinen with Immonen's line.

I really like this Väänänen-Järvinen pair. Both are big, hit really hard and play defense first and make few mistakes. A bit like Kukkonen-Jaakola but more mean

Today's score might be ugly

There is a rumor that French defender Yohann Auvitu #18 uses moped car for his movement needs and some Finnish players are laughing at him. Is this going to affect tonight in this game?

I'd imagine that's going to make all the bodychecks aimed at him a LOT harder, except perhaps for Väänänen and Järvinen.

Going to be damn hard to move, too, if he parks in front of the net.

0-2 France. Goals by Auvitu and Bertrand.
This would be epic!.... some words acording AuVitu's mopedCar. Its diesel so it might cause some damage Jani Tuppurainen's lungs..

Also Sokos-Hotel is running low of baguettes so French are going to frantic tonight

France can sure score goals, they managed to score twice against both USA and Canada, not to mention 6 against Kazakstan.

Finland will have 4 games in 5 days which means it is questionable with what kind of attitude Finland will start the game against the French.

There will be a quiet moment before the game honoring the memory of Pekka Marjamäki

Hoping we can score like in the Switzerland game.

Apparently Lehtonen is resting. So starting goalie is Vehanen, Rämö as backup.
