I think the goal difference in games against each other is the tiebraker when 3 teams are tied. When it was just 2-1 Denmark the Russians had a better score there than the Finns.

Agreed. In terms of wanting high-quality football in the next round, Belgium and Denmark going through with Finland and Russia going home is probably the best result.

Close. Goal differential in games against each other was actually tied though at that point, so it went to total goals scored in games against each other.

Had a feeling this group would end 9-3-3 after that Finnish win, then it would come down to who scored the most and Denmark is clearly better than RUS and FIN. At least my Denmark semifinals prediction is still on
