Mcdavid often sucks against tight defences. Watched 150 of his games not worried at all

Stay out of the box and I think Canada can come back.

Those penalties cut twice as deep since it keeps McDavid and Barzal off the ice.

Except an NHL prime starting goalie doesn't let any of those shots in.

The first 2 go in on most keepers.

I shouldn't have to explain why really.

Problem has been giveways, allowing deflections in close and penalty trouble. Defense overall has been bad.

Sadly we are seeing the results of so many Canadians refusing the call. Meanwhile many of the Europeans who lost out in the first and second rounds have answered their country's call.

The 1st goal never goes in. The 2nd is wishy washy but a goalie who is in their zone gets that puck to hit their equipment better than just catching it with an edge and the puck doesn't trickle in.
There's no shame in admitting that McElhinney and Kuemper are trash when expected to play like true #1s.
