Having seen em both probably at least 50-60 times more than most in this thread, there are a number of good reasons Nate is ranked higher.

Agreed, although I haven't seen them play as much as you have. MacKinnon will go number 1, but Drouin will be top 5 as well.

Drouin has also been put in a position to succeed so far, getting regular minutes with offensive players. MacKinnon has been used very sparingly, and mostly in a checking role. The game where Spott was basically forced to use MacKinnon on a semi-regular basis, and with Strome/Drouin he looked very good.
