I think the Americans take this one.. It will be a dandy though.. but according to Danill Zharkov in an interview with sovsport.ru he says Russia will dominate the Americans.

Gaudreau/Miller/Grimald looks more like the first line than the second.

US wins 4-2, but it will be a hard fought win as the Russians try to make up for their performance against the Slovaks.

I honestly have no idea what to predict in this game. Coming into the tournament I would have said Russia but the US were impressive in their 1st game especially Galchenyuk's line. Russia did not play to their potential against Slovakia, they played way too much as individuals, whether that's a sign to come or just a bad game I don't know. I'm gonna go with my opinion coming in and not base my prediction on their 1st games but I'm not confident in it at all

Russia 4-3

US looked good, but I see Russia being fired up for this game. They really take it to the US, but the US pushes back. In the end Russia wins a close game 4-3.

I see this game being decided by U.S. discipline (or lack thereof). If they can stay out of the box I think they stand a good chance of pulling out a hard-fought victory.

Grigorenko vs. Galchenyuk part I. Can't wait.

NE division preview :naughty:
Hoping for USA to win, but I expect it to be close. Have a feeling the Russians end up taking it. They just have so much skill up front. USA was good in their first game, but it's not like they were playing a team anyone expected to really compete with them. If they can't be more disciplined, I think Russia will make them pay for it more than Germany did.

very surprised so many people are thinking that the USA is going to win. thought it would be a closer and more people would think that the star power of russia would get them the W

No wonder then, Russia has played very poorly with Slovakia, and the United States has done a good job in the match against Germany. Therefore, the forecasts are.
