Good luck to both teams and happy new year!

Also hat off to the morons watching a hockeygame at 4am instead of on the tsn site tomorrow

Since Canada/USA is meaningless, this is the new "game of the day" as far as I can see it.

Not sure who to cheer for. I'd say Russia but that might cause my head to explode from 40+ years of previous anti-Russian hockey information conflicting with this new love of...cough cough....Team Russia.

Can't pick a winner, both teams are great. Have a good game, boys! May the best team win.

I will have to download the game from tracker tomorrow and be sure to keep it spoiler-free untill then.

Go, Kuzya, score a pair or more :handclap:

You make a good point! If you can get up in the morning and prevent yourself from accidently seeing the score, you could watch it as if it was live. It would be hard not to see the score, but it could probably be done.

This will be the best game so far, I'll have to cheer for Sweden. The Canadian defeat last year is still gut wrenching.

Can't you just watch this on-demand on SVTplay afterwards too? That's my plan, anyway. 4:00 AM for a groupgame just isn't worth it, to me.
