Hardly a surprise.

Anyway, hopefully boys will be able to leave yesterday's result behind them.

Kind of unfortunate though. Looks like they are just going to be showing poker or some stupid thing anyways. Oh well.

Does anyone know if it's going to be streamed anywhere at all? As far as I understand, it's not on the fasthockey schedule. :thumbd:

Whiners gonna whine.

Switzerland take this game. Not in super-convincing fashion.

Sven Bärtschi is very probably out for this game.

So Grégory Hoffmann probably will play with Walser and Martschini.

Why is Pelss out? He's been the only Latvian player able to compete with Russia and Sweden, so this should be a significant blow to their team. I wonder whether Girgensons is going to step up, he hasn't really shown that much thus far, at least not play worthy of him being considered a first-round draft pick.

i am seriously concerned by the capacity of the Swiss team to transform shots or scoring opportunities into goals.

You don't have to worry about this problem during this game, Latvia has exactly the same problem. Swiss can take this only with few goals and a solid defense. Of course I hope for the same for Latvia.

I really hope our players will put their heart out for this one, especially taking in count the horrible lose against Russia. Also I want to see very needed leadership from Girgensons and his ability to score, then I could see a victory after remaining 2 periods.

Bertschy again! Really interesting prospect.
Yeah, he's playing pretty well today, but I thought his play was quite underwhelming in the first two Swiss games. That being said, he is still only 17, so I guess I shouldn't be too hard on him, as he does show promise.

at least we regained some confidence and thus could actually start to play.
