The Swedes are always the real test for us.

We may win against Canadians, Russians (from time to time) ... but somehow Swedes are always our problem ! Not that they are better than the previously mentioned teams but they have our number on top of maybe being a bit better than us.;)

But : hej sverige, inte denna gång.

We will destroy them with a 4-2 win. (the last being an empty netter by Bertschy)
Amen

This game can be streamed at swedish television play: http://svtplay.se/v/2653234/ishockey__junior_vm

You might need to be in sweden/have a swedish proxy tho. But the quality will be super.
great stuff
tks

Close game, depends alot if Switzerland can score because they had horrible finishing against Russia of all those chances.

you're definitely right.

unlike the Russians and Canadians, the Swedes tend to stick to their high standard teamplay and -discipline when facing smaller competition... using their calm and superior smarts to break them into pieces. Several times I've seen both, Russia and Canada, underestimating opponents.... then surprised by the opponent's strengh lose their calm...then lose their disciplinelevel, opening up and finally losing the game...

normally, there is just no section of the game (except maybe forechecking and their willingness to sacrifice their body) where the Swiss can outplay the Swedes...

It's not even close
Was impressed with the Swiss against Russia, but as torero says, we always seem to triumph against them so I'm feeling fairly confident that we'll win this one.

I think the Swiss will surprise us!

Decent hockey nation and they gave Russia a good opponent.

But we should win the game pretty easy ;)

My bet! 6-1 Sweden!

Would love the first line to finally be able to play a full game together. No penalties, no injuries. Zibanejad looked in form against Latvia, should be a force.

Switzerland is an upcoming hockeynation, for sure, but still Sweden would have to underperform to loose this one, hopefully we don't.

Our goalie need to be sharp though.

Not with that game you played against Latvia, Switzerland is over 9000 times better team.

Hope for yet another offensive explosion, get the confident level up.

Hope we can avoid yet another defensive implosion, get the confident level up.;)

If a couple of small defensive mistakes(and one big one) doesn't happen in that Latvia game we win 9-1. Hopefullt that's something they talket about and practiced yesterday and this morning.

Yea well it's always been typical tre kronor to lower or higher themselves to their competitions level. So they should play better and hopefully rönnberg wont let them forget the last game.

They're starting Anton Forsberg?! I would have preferred him against Slovakia to be honest, not at all convinced by him.

Is Forsberg really starting tonight?

This is probably gonna be a though one, we've got to stay focused throughout the entire game.

Agree, he has not impressed in the SEL. Though, I expect him do do well on junior level.
